dad's vinyl

Last weekend I finally went through and organized my dad's vinyl collection. It was a nice way to start the week, admiring his great taste in music. He had Dylan, the Beatles, Cat Stevens, Jim Croce, Paul Simon, Three Dog Night, Janis Joplin, the Band, and many more. Now I have them and wish we could listen to them together. My dad has been gone for three years today. I usually hate this week. It kind of just builds up to a nothingness. But this week was a little different. I kept thinking about his vinyl and could smile.

What a great way to connect with him.

I wish I could say "like." It does get easier with years. The pain isn't as intense, and you can enjoy the good memories.

Nice. Enjoy the Beatles especially. I remember him loaning me one so I could tape it. Now my 3 like them too - timeless!

I can't believe it's been 3 years already too. I've been thinking of you. So glad you have this way of remembering/thinking of your dad! Do you have a way to listen to them? Love you
