Just found my planner for next year.
We're back from a little vacation/work week. Vacation for me, work for D. Most of the week was spent in the mountains of North Carolina so D could participate in a water based training. Luckily, my mom now lives about an hour from the river. I did manage to do a little vintage hunting for the shop. I promised myself to re-open sometime this summer.
ps...We are such bad parents. We took Nelson to his first national park, The Great Smokey Mountains. Of course we forgot our camera. Sadly, we have no obligatory picture by the entrance sign. No pictures of the beautiful vistas. And no pictures of the turkey and wild boar we saw on our hike.

Do you know of good cabins to rent? Ryan and I were thinking of staying in the Smokey Mountains for our anniversary. Funny that you just went there....we have been looking at websites for cabins. Thanks!
Thanks for your reply. We've been looking at the NC side with the same thing in mind about Gaitlinburg. And we love Asheville, so we are thinking of taking a day trip there. (Beer, yeah!) Look forward to hearing more details.
